Learn about BrightSign user accounts and how you control your data
Signing Up for a BrightSign Account
To sign up for a BrightSign account, press the “Sign Up” button when you launch the BrightSign Glove app for the first time. Enter your email address and your preferred password, and then press the “Sign Up” button to continue. Passwords must have at least 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 number and 1 special character.
Once you have signed up, you will receive a validation email to the address that you have provided. Please click the link in that email to confirm your account and to prove that you are not a bot.
Make a note of your email address and password in a secure place. Do not write it down in a notebook or on a post-it note. We recommend using a password manager to store your account details as this is generally the most secure option.
If you are unable to sign up like this, please get in touch with us for support. Please ensure that you have a strong internet connection while signing up for an account.

Forgotten Usernames/Emails
In general, we are unable to help if you have forgotten the email address used to register your account.
However, if you have several email addresses that you might have used to sign up, but just aren’t sure which one is registered, get in touch with us and after validating that you have access to the emails you are requesting that we check for, we will be able to tell you which, if any, are attached to accounts in our system.
Lost Access to Email
If you have lost access to the email that you used to sign up for your BrightSign account, you must get in touch with us to request a reset.
You will need to provide us with proof of your purchase of a BrightSign glove, as well as documentation proving your identity. Ideally, you will also be able to provide us with evidence of your previous ownership of the email that you used to register the account.
While we will try our best to support customers that have lost access to their email addresses, due to security and data protection regulations and constraints, we may not be able to recover account access if the above information is not provided.
